Each Halo model offers a different Wi-Fi coverage range. Select your Halo model from the Halo Mesh WiFi product list and visit its Overview page to check the recommended coverage.

Note: Halo's actual range may vary based on characteristics of your house including, but not limited to, its building materials, layout, interference, and Halo placement.

Q2: What is the recommended distance apart for each Halo?

For the best wireless performance, place each Halo no more than about 30 feet (9 meters) apart from at least one other Halo. The ideal distance may vary depending on your home environment.

Q3: How to improve the Wi-Fi range of Halo?

The Wi-Fi range of Halo can be affected by wireless interference, physical obstructions, and Hako unit placement. To improve the Wi-Fi range, please follow these tips below.

1) Place Halo higher up

For example, put Halo on a bookshelf, cabinet, or upstairs. This helps improve signal coverage.

2) Avoid obstructions

Keep Halo away from walls, floors and large metal objects (e.g., filing cabinets, metal furniture) that can block or weaken signals.

3) Reduce wireless interference

Place Halo away from devices that generate wireless noise, such as Bluetooth speakers, USB 3.0 devices, microwaves, or cordless phones, which can interfere with the 2.4 GHz band and impact Wi-Fi performance.
