MERCUSYS UK Shipping Methods Explained
Mercusys UK offers two shipping methods to process an RMA replacement request. All replacement requests are processed through our product registration system at https://myproducts.mercusys.com/
Standard RMA Service
Step 1: You need to return the defective product along with the RMA number to the Mercusys UK RMA team first at your own cost.
Please label the outside of the package with the RMA number, which is in the format of RUK-XXXXXX-XXXXX.
Receiving address for the defective device:
RMA Department
Mercusys UK Limited
1 Jones Drive,
Greenham Business Park, Greenham
Thatcham, RG19 6AE
Step 2: Mercusys UK RMA Team will ship out a replacement within two working days of receiving the defective product free of charge.
Note:
*The postage for returning a defective product for replacement will not be reimbursed because Mercusys UK, as the manufacturer, does not sell directly to end users.
*Mercusys UK is responsible for the one-way shipping fee for the replacement.
Advanced Service-Deposit First
In order to help our customers get the replacement as soon as possible at a low cost, Mercusys UK has introduced another shipping method that customers can pay a deposit and a small service charge to get the replacement ahead of sending back the defective product.
Step 1: You pay £6 non-refundable service charge and a deposit equal to the amount of the replacement.
Step 2: The Mercusys RMA team will ship out the replacement within two business days once the service fee and deposit are paid.
Step 3: You send back the defective unit at their own cost within 25 days of the Advanced RMA submission.
Step 4: The deposit will be fully refunded once the defective unit is received by the Mercusys UK RMA team in 25 days. Otherwise, the deposit will be charged at the full price of replacement.
Explaining Mercusys Advanced RMA Fees
The deposit is a pre-approved amount that covers the replacement unit's cost and applicable tax for said unit. While this amount is removed from available cards, it is not actually charged until the 25 days are up.
However, your receipt from PayPal will, at least at this time, look like the whole amount is being charged at the time of the transaction. However, this is not true.
Below is an example of an Advanced RMA Case Summary. It shows what is going to be charged at the time is only the handling fee. The deposit amount will only be charged when you fail to return the defective unit after 25 days.

Note:
*Mercusys UK can only accept online payment through PayPal. For the customer who does not have a PayPal account, please access PayPal as a guest to complete the payment.
*Mercusys UK will be unable to process the payment through the phone or deduct the amount directly from the Debit/Credit card.
*The service charge £6 is non-refundable.
*All payments include VAT.
