MD210 V1 Battery Video Doorbell
Welcome to the setup guide.
To ensure equal access for all users, we offer this accessible setup guide. This guide is designed to meet accessibility needs, enabling a successful setup. It will introduce the appearance of your doorbell, including its ports, buttons and labels, and then guide you through the setup process.
Step 1. Know about your doorbell and chime
In this section, we will describe the appearance of the doorbell and chime, including their ports, buttons, and labels.
Doorbell:
1. You can find your doorbell and the USB cable in the package.
USB Cable: Type-A port at one end and Type-C port at the other end. You can find the cable in the package. Connect it to a USB charger to charge your doorbell.
2. Next, place your doorbell on a horizontal surface, such as on a shelf or desktop. Position it with the camera lens facing forward and on the upper side.
3. After positioning your doorbell correctly, we will introduce the ports, buttons, and labels on your device in a certain order.
Microphone: For capturing your voice. It is next to the lens.
Lens: For capturing objects within its view.
Ring Button: For ringing the doorbell. It is a round button at the bottom of the product.
System LED: It is a circle of light around the Ring button. It shows your doorbell status. You can check the doorbell status on the app.
Turn to the back panel to find RESET button.
RESET: It is located in the upper middle part of the product. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to power on the doorbell and 5 seconds to reset the doorbell.
Turn to the bottom panel to find the microSD card slot and Type-C power port.
microSD Card Slot: Insert a microSD card with the notch on the bottom left side.
Type-C Power Port: Plug in the USB cable to charge your doorbell.
Product label: The product label is on the back of the doorbell through laser engraving.
Chime:
1. Plug the chime into a power outlet to power it on.
2. With the speaker on the upper side, we will introduce the buttons and labels on your device in a certain order.
Status LED: It is right below the speaker. It shows the chime's connection status with the doorbell.
On the left panel you will find the Reset button.
RESET: Press and hold the RESET button for 5 seconds to reset Wi-Fi settings and 10 seconds to factory reset the device.
Product label: The product label is on the back of the chime through laser engraving.
Step 2. Set Up
1. Get the MERCUSYS app from the App Store or Google Play, then log in. Or you can visit https://www.mercusys.com/app/download-app to download the MERCUSYS app.
2. Press and hold the Power button for about 3 seconds to turn on the camera. You will hear a sound when turning on.
3. Tap the + button in the app and select your camera model. Follow app instructions to complete setup.

For iOS
Functions with Accessibility:
- Font Size
- Increase Contrast
Font Size
Default: Follow System by default.
Follow System: Adjusts according to the system font size. (Maps system sizes from 1-3x to app sizes of 1-2x.)
Custom: Customize the font size specifically for this app. There are 7 levels available. Drag the slider to adjust the font size.
Path: Accessibility→Font Size
Note: To enable Magnifier, you can follow the guidance provided to enable it and check the examples of the magnified content.
If the current system font size is not set to the maximum of five levels, guidance instructions will appear.
If the current system font size is at the maximum of five levels, the guidance will be hidden.
Increase Contrast
Default: Follow System by default.
Follow System: The app will display content effect according to the system's Increase Contrast setting. If Increase Contrast is enabled on the system, the app will show in high contrast mode. If it is disabled, the app will display in general mode.
On: Custom: When Increase Contrast is enabled, the app will display content in high contrast.
Off: Custom: When Increase Contrast is disabled, the app will display general contrast.

How to Check MERCUSYS App Accessibility for iOS
1. After the MERCUSYS app is initially installed, you will see the authorization page. Tap the Accessibility button on the upper right corner then Accessibility.
2. Login page: Tap the Accessibility button on the upper right corner then Accessibility.
3. iPhone: Find Me on the bottom tab bar, tap Me > App Settings > Accessibility.
4. iPad: Find the side bar, tap Me > App Settings > Accessibility.
Note:
- The oldest version that supports Large Content Viewer is iOS 13. For optimal performance, it is recommended to update your iOs system to the latest version.
- Some accessible functions are realized through Custom Action.
For Android
Functions with Accessibility:
- Font Size
- Increase Contrast
Font Size
Default: Follow System by default.
Follow System: Adjusts according to the system font size.
Custom: In custom mode, there are fixed levels (80%, 100% Default, 120%, 140%, 160%, 180%, 200%). This only applies within the app. Drag the slider to adjust the text size for clearer and more readable content.
Path: Accessibility→Font Size
Note: To enable Magnifier, you can follow the guidance povided to enable it and check the examples of the magnified content. In custom mode, adjust to different levels, the font size will change accordingly in real time.

Default: Off by default. If enabled, contrast will be increased directly without loading.
Follow System: The app will display content effect according to the system's Increase Contrast setting. If Increase Contrast is enabled on the system, the app will show in high contrast mode. If it is disabled, the app will display in general mode.
On: Custom: When Increase Contrast is enabled, the app will display content in high contrast.
Off: Custom: When Increase Contrast is disabled, the app will display general contrast.

How to Check MERCUSYS App Accessibility for Android
1. After the MERCUSYS app is initially installed, you will see the splash screen. Tap the Accessibility button on the upper right corner then Accessibility.
2. Welcome page: Tap the Accessibility button on the upper right corner then Accessibility.
3. Find Me on the bottom tab bar, tap Me > Accessibility Settings > Accessibility.
Note:
- For optimal performance, it is recommended to update your Android system and Talkback to the latest version.
- Some accessible functions are realized through Custom Action.
English: Safety Information
• Do not use damaged charger or USB cable to charge the device.
• Do not use any other chargers than those recommended.
• Do not use the device where wireless devices are not allowed.
• Adapter shall be easily accessible.
• Use only power supplies which are provided by manufacturer and in the original packing of this product. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
• For the doorbell, keep the device away from fire or hot environments. DO NOT immerse in water or any other liquid.
For the chime, keep the device away from water, fire, humidity or hot environments.
• Do not disassemble, repair or modify the product.
• Do not place near automatically controlled devices such as fire alarms. Radio waves emitted from this product may cause such devices to malfunction resulting in an accident.
• Observe restrictions on using wireless products in fuel depots, chemical plants or when blasting operations are in progress.
• Do not use liquid to clean the product. Only use a dry cloth.
• Never put metal objects inside the product. If a metal object enters the product turn off the circuit breaker and contact an authorised electrician.
• This product is not intended to be used when providing medical care. Consult the manufacturer of any personal medical devices, such as pacemakers or hearing aids to determine if they are adequality shielded from external RF (radio frequency) energy.
• Do not use this product in health care facilities. Hospitals or health care facilities may be using equipment that could be sensitive to external RF energy.
• Do not place heavy objects on top of the product.
• When you leave the product unused for a long time unplug the product from the power outlet.
• This product may interfere with other electronic products such as TV, radios, personal computers, phones or other wireless devices.
• Always follow the local waste and recycle laws when you get rid of the used battery.
• Do not use the product if the casing has been broken. Danger of electric shock.
• Never touch the product with wet hands.
• This equipment can be powered only by equipment that complies with Power Source Class 2 ( PS2) or Limited Power Source(LPS) defined in the standard of IEC 62368-1.
• The mounting height should not be higher than 2 meters.
• Doorbell Operating Temperature: -20 °C ~ 45 °C (-4 °F ~ 113 °F)
• Chime Operating Temperature: 0 °C ~ 40 °C (32 °F ~ 104 °F)
• Adapter should be used indoors where the ambient temperature is lower than or equal to 40 ºC.
