Why does MERCUSYS require my email address?

An email address will be required when you create a MERCUSYS ID. Your MERCUSYS ID uses email addresses to sign you into your account with MERCUSYS devices and provide the related services.

 

Most of the MERCUSYS devices can still function properly without using the App or MERCUSYS ID, but H and E series Halo must be set up and managed through the App.

 

With MERCUSYS ID, you can:

 

  • Verifying your account.
  • Resetting your password.
  • Remote management of your MERCUSYS devices.
